Shane Warren Jones
Founder & CEO
International character actor, creative producer, and Dharma practitioner with over 20 years in the entertainment industry, creating work at the intersection of performance, cultural identity, and contemplative inquiry.
Born in Canada, he spent his formative years in the Emirates as the child of pioneering educators, and traveled through Asia, Europe, and Africa before building his career in the United States. These cross-cultural experiences, and the particular weight of navigating the world as a person of color moving between vastly different societies, shaped his perspective and continue to inform every story he develops.
His creative path began through classical training and a deep pull toward roles with real emotional weight, eventually leading him to producing and development. Over two decades working across film, television, and stage, he has built a practice grounded in the actor's understanding of character and the producer's eye for stories that travel. As an Adult Third Culture Kid, he brings a bridge-builder's fluency to cross-cultural and international co-productions, with a commitment to centering the voices and experiences that shaped him.
Currently developing original projects through UEE that explore what it means to build a life between worlds: The Expats, The Adult Third Culture Kids, The Adult Cross-Culture Kids, and those in The Globally Mobile Community.
Alongside his production work, Shane founded The Flow of the Phoenix (TFOTP), a depth-first, transformational coaching practice rooted in the same cross-cultural and contemplative foundations that drive UEE.
